(Inauguration Ceremony)

On the afternoon of July 10, 2025, CMAC and the Tianjin Maritime Court jointly held the inauguration ceremony for the Beijing International Dry Port Circuit Trial Site of Tianjin Maritime Court and the “judicial review of maritime arbitration” seminar at CMAC Beijing headquarters. As a significant step to enhance collaboration and foster coordinated development of maritime judiciary and maritime arbitration, the Beijing International Dry Port Circuit Trial Site (the “Circuit Trial Site”) of Tianjin Maritime Court has been officially located at CMAC Beijing Headquarters.

(1st Hearing at CMAC)

On August 19, 2025, the first hearing of the Circuit Trial Site was held at CMAC. It is reported that the case involved a foreign-related dispute over carriage of goods by sea, arising from cargo damage that occurred during shipment from China to Algeria, Africa. As the plaintiff's domicile and the defendant's attorney were both located in Beijing, the Tianjin Maritime Court, after consulting with all parties, decided to hold the trial at CMAC in Beijing. After the hearing, the judge, along with the parties and their agents, with satisfying experience, expressed their appreciation for the hearing facilities and services of CMAC.
