At the "2025 China High-level Dialogue on Maritime and Commercial Arbitration" held on June 6, the China Maritime Arbitration Commission (hereinafter referred to as "CMAC") released the "CMAC Selected Maritime Cases Involving FTZ Enterprises" (hereinafter referred to as the "Cases Collection") for the first time.

The "Cases Collection" includes 10 representative typical cases and any identifying information such as the names of the parties has been concealed. The cases mainly involved ship construction, voyage charter-party, freight forwarding, waterway dredging, insurance and other frequent disputes, aiming to sort out the trial ideas, give full play to the demonstration and guidance role of typical cases, guide the proper resolution of contradictions and disputes in accordance with the law, improve the transparency of arbitration and the predictability of awards, strengthen the risk prevention awareness of relevant market entities, put forward targeted and practical opinions and suggestions, and provide useful reference to improve the relevant legal system, the construction of corporate compliance and the development of arbitration practice.
