The 2nd Northeast Asia International Commercial Dispute Resolution Summit successfully held

On December 13, the 2nd Northeast Asia International Commercial Dispute Resolution Summit was successfully held in Dalian. This summit was co-hosted by CMAC and Dalian Maritime University, CMAC Northeast Asia International Arbitration Center, Dalian Area Management Committee of China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone, CCPIT Dalian Sub-council, CMAC Qingdao Arbitration Center, Qingdao Area Management Committee of China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, supported by The International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Maritime Arbitration Commission of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation,Far Eastern Federal University of Russia,The Korean Commercial Arbitration Board, China Maritime Law Association, China Academy of Arbitration Law, the International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), Institute for Dalian Northeast Asia International Shipping Centre, Shandong Provincial Lawyers' Association, Dalian Municipal Lawyers' Association, Qingdao Lawyers' Association and other domestic and foreign institutions.

At the opening ceremony,  Dr. Yu Jianlong, Vice Chairman of  CCPIT, Mr. Liu Dongli, Vice Mayor of Dalian Municipal People's Government, and Mr. Shan Hongjun, President of Dalian Maritime University, delivered speeches . The opening ceremony of the summit was hosted by Dr. Li Hu, Vice Chairman of CMAC.

In the results release session, CMAC, together with Dalian Area Management Committee of China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone, CCPIT Dalian Sub-council, and Dalian Lawyers Association, jointly released theChina (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone Ad Hoc Arbitration Guidelines”. CMAC signed a co-operation agreement with the legal officer of Jus Mundi of  France.

The summit also set up keynote speeches and mock arbitral tribunal sessions in both Chinese and English.
