CMAC and Qingdao Maritime Court sign Collaboration on Construction of Diversified Dispute Resolution Memorandum
On 8 June, China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC) and the Qingdao Maritime Court signed the Collaboration on Construction of Diversified Dispute Resolution Memorandum with Qingdao Maritime Court. The two parties not only established a pre-litigation mediation mechanism, but also clarified that in the future, they will carry out in-depth co-operation and innovation in areas such as arbitration preservation, recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards, nationwide large-scale joint mediation of maritime cases, multi service of document delivery, identification of foreign laws, international forums, and the supply of maritime standards, as well as early and pilot implementation in the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the China-SCO Local Economicand Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area.
Dr. Li Hu, Vice Chairman of CMAC witnessed the signing ceremony and Mr. Huang Chenliang, Deputy Secretary General of CMAC Qingdao Arbitration Centre, signed the Memorandum on behalf of CMAC.
