On May 18th, the 2023 High-Level Symposium on Maritime Silk Road International Economics and Trade Arbitration was successfully held in Xiamen, co-hosted by the China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC), Fujian Sub-Council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Xiamen Committee of CCPIT and Xiamen Pilot Free Trade Zone Administrative Committee, undertaken by CMAC Maritime Silk Road Arbitration Center, supported by 20 domestic and international institutions, including International Commercial Dispute Prevention And Settlement Organization (ICDPASO), China Maritime Law Association (CMLA), China Academy of Arbitration Law (CAAL), China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), The Arbitration Center Across The Straits (ACAS), CCPIT mediation Center, Secretariat of the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District, Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA), Hong Kong Maritime Arbitration Group (HKMAG), Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR), Indonesian Academy of Independent Mediators and Arbitrators (MedArbId), Thai-Chinese International Arbitration and Mediation Center (TCIAC), The Chamber of Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration Ciesp/Fiesp, Thailand Arbitration Center (THAC), The Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA), World Trade Center Macau Arbitration Center, Xiamen Arbitration Commission, Xiamen Bar Association and Xiamen Commercial and Maritime Mediation Centre. About 50,000 participants attended the event online and offline.

Dr. Liangdong Ke, Vice Chairman of CCPIT and Vice Chairman of CMAC, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony.

Dr. Hu Li, Vice Chairman of CMAC, moderated the opening ceremony.

On behalf of the CMAC, the Deputy Secretary-General Dr. Bo Chen signed MOU with the Xiamen Maritime Court and the Chairman of theHong Kong Maritime Arbitration Group (HKMAG) respectively. She then delivered a speech at the keynote speech session.

Ms Ji Qi, Director of the Case Management Division of CMAC, moderated the keynote speech session. Ms. Huimin Hong, Deputy Secretary-General of CMAC Maritime Silk Road Arbitration Center, moderated the closing ceremony.
