On March 30, during the opening of the 7th International Mediation Summit Forum, China Maritime Arbitration Commission (CMAC) Maritime Silk Road Arbitration Centre was officially inaugurated. Mr. Hongbin Ren, Chairman of CCPIT and Chairman of CMAC and Mr. Dongchuan Luo, Deputy Secretary of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Leading Group for the Construction of Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District jointly unveiled the plaque for CMAC Maritime Silk Road Arbitration Center.

Mr. Ren said, as the core area of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, Fujian Province, and Xiamen Municipality have been earnestly studying and implementing Xi Jinping's thoughts in recent years, and the construction of the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District has been making new achievements and taking new steps. The establishment of the CMAC Maritime Silk Road Arbitration Center is another important step taken by CCPIT to help Xiamen in building the Maritime Silk Road Central Legal District. The CMAC Maritime Silk Road Arbitration Center will provide independent, impartial, professional, efficient, and clean arbitration services for Chinese and foreign parties, and contribute to the creation of a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, rule-of-law-oriented and international.
