The Guidance Notes, with 46 articles in four chapters, systematically summarize the salient points around procedural and substantial matters of handling criminal law related civil cases, in terms of two major types of cases involving both criminal and civil law.

From user’s perspective, the Beijing Lawyers Association Criminal Law related Civil Affairs Committee published a compilation over 1.5 million Chinese characters by collecting legislation, jurisprudence, typical cases, academic papers and journal articles over the past 40 years. The compilation will serve as a reference for the Guidance Notes and further facilitate its understanding.
