On 9 September 2022, CMAC held the first CMAC Cup Essay Contest in International Maritime and Commercial Arbitration (the “CMAC Cup”) & Seminar on Career Planning and Cultivation Mechanism for Foreign-related Legal Professionals in Beijing as well as online. The event was supported over 20 renowned law faculties and universities from mainland China and Hong Kong SAR.

At the award ceremony, Dr. Li Hu (Vice Chairman of CMAC), Mr Tan Jian (Secretary General of China Academy of Arbitration Law), and Dr. Chen Bo (Deputy Secretary General of CMAC) respectively presented the awards to the 2022 CMAC Cup winners. The follow-up seminar brought speakers from administration of Justice, court, arbitration institution, law firms and universities for an in-depth discussion on cultivating foreign-related legal professionals, as well as career advice for law students.

The event attracted 40 on-site attendees and nearly 4000 online participants.
