Interpretation by the Supreme People's Court of Several Issues Concerning the Application of Book One General Provisions of the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China (Judicial Interpretation on General Provisions) was passed on the 1861st plenary session of the Court's Judicial Committee and formally promulgated on 25 February 2022 and came into effect on 1 March 2022.

The Judicial Interpretation on General Provisions consists of 39 articles, divided into 9 parts: general rules, capacity for civil rights and capacity for civil conduct, guardianship, declaration of disappearance and declaration of death, civil legal acts, agency, civil liability, statute of limitations and supplementary provisions.
